Hi Friends,

We are pleased to announce a new build of Harbour MiniGUI Extended
Edition.

It is a regularly scheduled maintenance release.

Here's a breakdown of some of the modifications in the build 21.01.
For the full list, please see the changelog.

* Fixed: The symbol fonts were abandoned in the internal function
_DefineFont() (introduced in the build 16.12).

* Fixed: An Image index assigning was ignored in the Grid control
with 'ColumnControls' property defined as NIL
(introduced in the build 20.06).

* The command DEFINE FONT <font> FONTNAME <name> ... will delete
automatically a previous font definition instead of the error
message.

* Adaptation of MiniGUI core for compatibility with Borland/
Embarcadero C++ 7.20 64-bit compiler.

* Added the Harbour contrib library for Cabinet file (*.CAB)
compression and extraction.

* Added the binary of HMG IDE tool of Roberto Lopez.

* Updated HMGS-IDE v.1.4.4.3.

* Updated the Harbour compiler, SQLite3 library and some examples.

There is a last-minute improvement also:

* Fixed: Getbox VALID function not working if Getbox was placed
in the PANEL window.

A setup of the build 21.01 for Borland C++ 5.8.2 is published at
the following URL:

There is also an extra donationware Minigui Ex build for the
Embarcadero C++ 10.2 ‘Tokyo’ compiler.

This release is considered stable and ready for production use.

The upgrade to this build is recommended.

Please note that MiniGUI Ex supports currently the following additional C-compilers:

- MinGW GNU C 10.2.1 (32-bit);
- MinGW GNU C 10.2.0 (64-bit);

- MS Visual C++ 2019 (32-bit);
- MS Visual C++ 2019 (64-bit);

- Borland/Embarcadero C++ 7.4 (32-bit);
- Borland/Embarcadero C++ 7.4 (64-bit);

- Open Watcom C/C++ 2.0 (32-bit);

- Pelles ISO C 10.0 (32-bit);
- Pelles ISO C 10.0 (64-bit).

One question : Some time I am unable to Uninstall old version i.e. 20.04 before installing new version

Hi Dave,

You can erase simply the old folder \MiniGUI before a new installation.
