I have no idea what is HMG before. I was searching for xbase compiler on the net, unluckily, all the torrents stop seeding, and is very expensive, so I found this VIVA Clipper Wordpress and gave me idea about HMG. I was blessed there are people who are willing to share their knowledge for free.
I just got back myself to the game (programming) for sometime.

Thank you Danny (kabayan),

Regards,

Rey

Hi Rey,
I was blessed there are people who are willing to share their knowledge for free.
Here at HMG Forum, community members shares codes and solutions (depending if they have free time to spare though). You can also share and help newbies as well. HMG Forum is an active and productive community.

HMG is founded by Mr. Roberto Lopez. It is forked (I believed) from HwGUI. At present the HMG Core Library is being managed by Dr. Claudio Sotto and Mr. Rathinagiri. Also Mr. Rathinagiri is the owner of HMG Forum.

Likewise HMG has another fork and called HMG Extended. Check it out on:
http://www.hmgextended.com/ It contains many samples too. It is managed and maintained by Mr. Grigory Filatov. Before the Unicode Version of HMG, you can compile HMG code and HMG Extended. It also supports both borland C compiler (so that you can use .LIBrary) and gcc compiler (used by HMG).

You can find Harbour code and binary distribution at: http://harbour.github.io/ Download the Core Master and the Binary.

Also there is an HMG Tutorial provided by Giovanni (fellow HMG Forum member). You can find the tutorial here: http://www.elektrosoft.it/tutorials.asp

I'm glad you've found a new toy to play with.

Good luck,

Danny
