Function to convert US Inch (decimal) or US Inch (Fraction) to mm's

A friend needed a small, fast conversion tool to take either decimal or fraction inch numbers and convert to mm's
I made this small command shell calculator for him.

I thought that maybe someone here might be able to use such a function.

My code and needs are usually crude and unrefined.
Seems to give good results however sure it won't impress any experienced programmer.
Never the less.
