Wish for IDE

Hi

I have some wish for IDE :

- I eagerly want back the "Exclude Item" option of project menu.

By the way, "Delete Item" option delete form (.fmg) file from disk and work as "Exclude Item" for module (.prg) files.
IMHO deleting any file from disk should not be duty of IDE.

- Building main.prg and main.fmg by IDE may be dependent to confirmation (or a configuration option) of user, not automatic.

- Also, asking user confirmation at shutdown may be a configuration option.

- May be not easy, but I wish "multiple projects" feature for IDE (instead of having multiple copy parallel running).

With my best regards

Hello friends:
A silly question, I think not all users of HMG
They use the full IDE, I for example, I use it a lot
for designing forms, but when I have to compile I
using Build.bat.
For this course I have to rename the File.Fmg to File.Prg
And add in the header # include "hmg.ch" Main Function
and modify the Windows Main Compile with Build.bat

My question is: In the IDE -> Project -> Save Form, also
Could interspersed? Save Form as Prg?
Do not know if it is very difficult but it would be nice to have the form
Prg directly.
A Greeting

Hola amigos:
Fmg a Fichero.Prg

I disagree.
As mentioned earlier viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1284, the programmers have different styles. I personally use only those less Profi. For me, the eradication of files FMG will mean a mess and confusion.

For those who have to correct manually the FMG files, I can write a batch file that :
- rename the extension of FMG to PRG
- add the necessary headers.
Please specify only the exact needs.

Hola

Gracias

Claudio

Hello

Compiling with Build.bat is faster to compile with IDE?

I have a problem assembling a form on a Windows XP SP2 with 256 RAM, complete the form with various controls and when you compile with IDE some controls do not appear. Reboot the PC and reload the project and there it works correctly.
Someone knows what is that?
Sorry for my English
Thanks

Claudio

I agree with Czarny

This is a working style of programming and IDE gives always generalized possibilities, without obligation of any specific way.

Regards, saludos.

I do agree Esgici and Czarny.

IMHO, there shall be some option to find out the source code of a form definition inside IDE.

Hello friends
In my humble opinion, I am not raising "IDE yes, IDE no" whether or not,
as I put in my Previous Post, I am unable to program with the IDE, I belong
to SUMMER'87 school and is very difficult to leave the old ways of working.
When I started with HMG ide wonder I lost the writing method
out of control because I ignored all the issue of controls and buttons.
Today still do not understand many things that contain the controls and the
Making Form control saves me much time to work, but of course I work
with the Prg and clear I have to copy and paste or rename the file FMG
For this I would like the IDE tubiera the option of recording in Prg.

Hola amigos
