I have a 20 years old huge Clipper apps. Now it´s time to have a windows interface. The apps are for the health care area and they have a lot of critical Clipper code, so I´d like to keep functions and procedures as they are - minimal adjusts - ane only redesign the forms.
That´s why I think of using HMG. Of course I´ll colaborate in whatever I can.

Best regards

Hello Alvaro_Naves

Welcome aboard :)

You haven't anything change in your applications except two things: UI and Print ;)

Utilizo Clipper 5.2e, CA Tools, Exospace, dbfnsx2.

Hi everybody
I'm Ricardo Factor from Tel Aviv, Israel.
I've been programing en Clipper since 1986 and now is time to jump into the 32 bits.
I use Clipper 5.2e, CA Tools, Exospace, dbfnsx2.
Compile with rmake and using a lot of the preprocesor.
I am confused about Harbour - xHarbour, oohg - hmg, QAC, brmake, etc.
The fact is that I don't find where to begin and how to compile. First on text mode to pass all my systems and then visual mode which is more interesting for me.
Regards

PD is OK with portuguese too, and a pleasure to see Toledo around here.

Well, I´m a 58 age engineer, working in sw development for last 35 years.
I have a huge 20 years old Clipper app for health care and I need to make it to have a modern interface.
It has big libs e functions that if I could mantain or simply adapt it would be great. So I thought in porting the app to Harbour Minigui, and already begum working on it.
I have knowledgs in OO programming languages and DBMS, and of course, in Clipper/dbf.
If my avaliation and work in Minigui have sucess, I want to colaborate and share experiences in this forum.
Note that I´ve already posted in HMG Bugs report.

Best regards

Hola Ricardo:
