I want to be a HMG Poster

Hi to all memerships !

My name is Pablo Cesar Arrascaeta, I was born in Rosario Argentina in 1965 (so I am a little old...) but I am living in Brazil (Paranagua - Parana) and became brazilian citizen because I love this country. I´ve started with dBase III at 1980, past on to Clipper Summer 87 and then 5.1 and 5.2e. I´m very experienced in Clipper console mode, I means I´m trying to develop in GUI but as many programmer, I feel much dificulties to understand or to adopt graphical interfaces in xBase. Even as long I had learned others languages (as Java and C++), I still insist with xBase language, because this was my first love in my professional live. And you know ? our first love we never forget...
I also participate in brazilian xBase forum which I´m one of 5 moderators and I am very happy to contribute with xBase.

Now I tryng to get participation in this forum (in case my inscription will be approved) and help anyone whos can be in my range.

I'm Francesco, from Rome, Italy.

My first programs were in dbaseIII+, then 86/87/5.01... then xharbour and now harbour.

I spent several months on hwgui contributing some code, but I found that I spent more time on hwgui than on my program...

Then I fall in love with hbqt... and did some tests... I hope that HMG would be the layer to effectively use HMG !

So I downloaded HMG and tested it... I liked the project but got some problems in the build process that I wanted to correct.

I'd like to have the "poster" status so that I can explain how the build system could be amended...

Francesco

Welcome Francesco!

I've started as a HWGUI prior to begin with minigui library and I've followed its development from the beginning.

I know you through HWGUI changelogs.

Welcome again!
