button with .gif
Ciao a tutti,
I've found a problem or I don't understand about image for buttons.
If I use a .gif image in toolbar buttons works fine, instead if I use the same .gif for a button alone, the image is not displayed.
I want use the same transparent image everywhere and bmp have a "false" transparent background.
I've included a little example.
Many thanks to everyone.

Hi Luigi,
Let me check and come with a solution soon.

East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Currently, only .bmp images are supported in mixed (text and image) standalone (not toolbar) buttons.l3whmg wrote:Ciao a tutti,

Hy Roberto,
many thanks for your answer.
I hope that in future we can use these type (and/or other) of file for these buttons.
Best regards.

Re: button with .gif
It would be fine to use GIF pictures on buttons because of their animation possibility.

Animation is ok, but this is rare in the real world.
GIFs are used to flashing, splashing, blinking and destroying my eyes and nervous system.
Even here I have to cover some avatars with my left hand

Many thanks Roberto
Often I read the source code behind Minigui and find many things that I do not know: thanks for your (and other) work.
Czarny_Pijar, you are right , but we can not all be beautiful: the world is beautiful because it varied
That said, my aim is much more banal than animation on the buttons: use images that fit "any" background color that is present.
