Re: Forum updated to PHPBB 3.20
I have just updated the forum. Now I have to enable the extensions one by one.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Dear Rathinagiri,
The forum system is working good for me, but I missing so much the "likes" button.
In many occasions I wish to simply give my thank by thru this button and I love accumulating "likes" also.
Bring back this feature as soon as possible ... please ...
And tell me one thing: did the accumulated likes we had get lost ?

- This table tag is not working (atable tag, yes):
Rathinagiri wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2013 1:09 pm Yes. You are correct. align and valign variables accept "LEFT:CENTER:RIGHT" and "TOP:MIDDLE:BOTTOM" as values.
Regarding the old tables, we can change to otable, otd and otr, You can just show me the table topics/posts.
Code: Select all

Sample Text Sample Text

Sample Text Sample Text

Sample Text Sample Text

- Other forum feature is not present in this current version (yes in previous version): there was a composed list of messages relative to the same matter of each topic. These linked messages were at lower/down of each message. This makes it easier to consult other topic of the same subject and interest.
- When I reply to a message, the subject always comes "Re:"+Space(1) ... and I need to remove it.
Could this be permanently removed ?
- I had an idea about the customization in "Star Ranks" when is relative to "joined date/time" of users.
In my honest opinion, should not be considered the rank of the user by the date of registration, but by the performance and participation that each user has within the forum.
I think it's fair for the user to win his/her star according to the number of posts or even the amount of "Likes" the user receives.
I speak of this in order to motivate colleagues to help others and to be rewarded in some way.
So my advice is to have this concept open according to the configuring that the user has chosen in the User Control Panel. That is, letting the user choose their own evaluation criteria and the system could offer to users such options:
- No ratings on Ranks
- By the date of registration
- By the amount of messages posted
- By the amount of "Likes" received
- In my elaborated messages, I would like to be able to attach more than three images as I did some time ago. Otherwise, I serially required to host the images on another site running the risk of the images fading because of storage rules that time I can not keep...
