Optimization with DBF/CDX

Post by sudip »

Hello,

May be this query is for Harbour User Forum, but I am posting here because IMHO, HMG people are more helpful .... :)

Does DFF/CDX RDD use any optimization (eg., Rushmore in FoxPro)? Are the commands like LOCATE FOR, SET FILTER etc. optimized?

(Please correct me if I should post it in another place)

Thanks in advance.

With best reagrds.

Sudip

Hello,
I found it. :) There is a command
SET OPTIMIZE ON | OFF | (<lToggle>)
Sorry for asking elementary question. :(
Regards.

Thanks for the info Sudip. :)
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.
