Hello from Phililippines

Post by tcltk »

I've been a Clipper developer from 1988 to 1996. In 1996 I started developing in Visual dBase until 2000. In 2001 I started using PowerBuilder up to now. I've been silently following the development of Harbour since it first went online including HMG. Clipper is my favorite programming language but it's been a long time since I last use it so I'm now kind of starting all over again.

Welcome to HMG Forum from India.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Learned ;)
wiki.tcl.tk/ wrote: Tcl is a simple-to-learn yet very powerful language. Its syntax is described in just a dozen rules, but it has all the features needed to rapidly create useful programs in almost any field of application - on a wide variety of international platforms

Tk is a graphical toolkit for Tcl. It allows you to develop graphical applications that run on Windows, Linux, MacOS X and many other platforms. And not just from Tcl - Tk can be used from many languages including C, Ruby, Perl, Python and Lua.
Thank to introduction :)

tcltk,

Welcome Kabayan. I think you're the second poster (if I am not mistaken) from the Philippines. I'm glad you found this forum.
