Hello Sr. Rathinagiri, Sr.: Esgici

Many thanks for help me on this treat...

and

Sorry for changing my post's to disponibilize just last changes ( including just all files changed since 3.0.41)...

But this is a work in progress and any new updates result in a full rebuild of the Lib to basicaly correct bugs detected.. And for user tests, I think is important to get a stable Lib for this support ( not only for tell-me: I found a bug that I have fixed in last update)...

My first choice was to exchange and sincronize modifications with a team ( anybody working on the project sources ) and do not publish nothing here until a global decision for this... Then only me and Sr. Rathinagiri are working in this release (and waiting the rest of team or aditional support on how to make this work)...

Please, if you have any idea to help... Let us know...

Best regards...

Hi Chacal.GO,

I feel uncomfortable when you call me as Sr. So, please call me Rathinagiri or simply Rathi. :)

Then, Esgici could not find your post since you have modified your older post. Instead, you can post a new reply to the same topic. Thereby everybody can know about the post.

I am verifying the source code with the official MingW compiler and I will let you know soon.

My humble idea is:

dBase based Clipper is a high level programming language and don't have hard typing and similar low-level programming concepts. Harbour is the same. Personally, I am programming for many many years without obey some unnecessary rules like "define / declare variables before use". And never encountered any problem on this way (scope of variables is another issue). So, eliminating harmless warning messages like "Ambiguous reference" is totally needless effort for me. And I guess most of members of our forum think like me, because I don't see any complaint from them.

On the other hand, again as my opinion, a big project like HMG become more fragile day to day while it growing up. When changing any point, never couldn't know where, when and how a problem will occurs. This is correct non for anyone, but for original author(s) too. So, I (personally) never trust such global modification made externally.

Eventually, as users, we can contribute by offering some extra features, fixing some problems (if any), join to development stage of some new attempts (such as HMGScript ) and so on.

I don't never want keep down excitements of new and young friends; my only purpose is recommending that everyone will use their effort and time on right and useful way.

Again, all of my speech is my personal ideas and I don't want hurt anyone for anything and anyway.

Saludos / regards

Hi Esgici :)

Code: Select all

*** Yep: and nothing will change about it ;)

*** Then I think about other projects, like: Psql, Linux, Harbour, etc... this projects is big enough what !
*** Hmg can be better: just it...

Thanks for questions...

Thanks a lot. :) Actually it is for Indian Companies, but can be a sample for any XBRL implementation.

Had you seen Xtract DataCube?

*** Will restart from Zero and make just a minimum changes needed for my purposes ***
*** Then I'm will working just to Add TsBrowse 9 in my projects... ***
*** and whem it works I will show to you again ***

Data analisis in Delphi is some more dificult to understand and apply (But not from now)...

*** Many years ago I planed to build a mini WorkSheet to use inside an app (like a caledar, calculator) ...
*** Based in a mini matrix ( multidimensional array of array : 64 * 64 ) just to fit in oScreen, ofering basic funtions for simple calcs ( aVert x Ahoriz ): [ +, -, /, *, mod, avg, etc...]

*** Now You give me a new impetus to produce this with HMG (and invicted you to join this idea)
