directive REQUEST, what compiler need

I did not find in the documentation what the REQUEST directive means
Can anyone say when the program has #require and REQUEST what the compiler asks for?
The problem with this program is that the harbor (3.2) works and the hmg 3.4.4 does not work
What to change or add to work?
