Bonne suite
Hi to all the team
Clipper in the prg file is called automatically, but in HMG I find myself in a situation that I have not yet mastered.
How to call a file built in hmg-IDE, knowing that both PRG files have a MAIN.
In my example gestion14 is the main file and the file RECH_FAC that find in directory RECH_FACT must be called by gestion14 in the menu item "REHERCHE DE FACTURE"
Thank you very much for your help
good result

Hello Tabet

Please look at attached simple project.

This is SSW version of your "big" project ;)

As far as I know, after S87, it's completely abandoned calling .prg file(s) without proc/func .

In other hand, a project can't include more than one "Main" module ( procedure or function ); in fact not only "main" named, whatever the name, a project can't include more than one module with same name.

I hope that this SSW will give an idea to you

Happy HMG'ing :D

Sabah en-nour ya akhi

Sadly, I'm not sure that I understood you rigth :(

Putting your Rech_Fac.prg into SIMPLEGEST project is very easy :
copy this file from your rech_fac directory to SimpleGest\rech_fac directory
and rename first function "main" to "RECH_FAC"; that is all.

If you want another thing, please be more specific.

If I will understand and I will know the answer of your question, surely I want to help you, inshaa-Allah.

maassalam

Salam Alaikoum
I already put and I copy my Rech_Fac.prg into SimpleGest\rech_fac directory.
NB: the RECH_fac.prg Works very good alone, but when I call it with RECHERCHE FACURE into the gestion14, I have problem with FILES.FMG
I dont undestand Why ?

Hello Tabet

Anyway I have tried a bit help you.

Please look at attachment, this is unified version of your project.

But, excusez moi, this isn't the right way to learn.

Now, the error you notified ( "Can't open #include file 'Main.fmg'" ) (and fixed already by yo also ) eliminated.

But now you will be fatigued by searching answer to "where and how Esgici changed, and for what ?" question :(

My humble opinion is : instead of dealing with big projects, begin at the most beginning, the simple and simplest samples, and go forward step by step; if your main goal is learn.

Happy HMG'ing :D
