AutoAdjust controls by window resizing

Post by jreduojeda » Tue Jul 13, 2010 1:29 pm

Saludos, Esteban.

Hello everyone.
I need to know if you can do something for windows that have a higher resolution than you are using the PC at that time to see complete.
Usually I think the windows in a resolution of 1024 x 768, but there are still some monitors out there walking around with resolution of 800 x 600, the question is. What can you do about it? Will it be possible to put a horizontal and vertical Scroll to at least see the windows this way?
Any help is welcome.
From already thank you very much.
Regards, Stephen.

I come across this problem many times.

I try to compact my main window into 800 x 600. Only if I am sure about the client's screen resolution more than this, I use 1024 x 768. For our office systems I created 1280 x 1024 resolution windows, since we have 17" 4:3 LCD monitors.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Hola Esteban

Hi Stephen
Not if what you want is what makes
SET AUTOADJUST ON that only exists in and ooHG MiniGUI-EXTENDED
HMG gives me error in the example you attached
I do not think we have this sentence " SET AUTOADJUST ON /OFF"
if you give him in window
Really maximize all forms that are within the window
become larger in proportion to the Window
Regards

Mustafa

Hola...
Acabo de ver el ejemplo.
Realmente interesante está. Estaría bueno poder incorporar esto a HMG y a ooHg.
Saludos, Esteban.

As per I rembember, our friend Alex, created an app with HMG which has features like AUTOADJUST ON in other sofware tools. :)

But, problem is that I can't find it right now :(

Alex, do you have a copy of this app?

Thanks in advance :)
With best regards,
Sudip

Hi, boys! I'm little busy now - so I mainly read your posts (and write by myself not very often as you can see).
Yes, I use this "auto-zoom" technique constantly in my apps. It need a liitle more hand-work, but I'm sure that user will see on screen "the same picture" on all screen resolutions.

Only one "bad news" (maybe it will be more): IMAGES... (quality of image is worth if displaying sizes isn't equal to image sizes) (and I can't to solve that problem yet)
