To avoid spamming in the forum, it is decided that only members of the group 'HMG Posters' can post in the forum. A new member has to show his interest in HMG via an email to me (srgiri@dataone.in).

On seeing your interest in HMG through your introduction post, an approval shall be given by the Administrators/Moderators of the forum and you can also be a member of HMG Posters Group. So easy, isn't it?

Our rules are as simple as this:

1. You can read all the forums and posts if you want to.

2. You can post in this board but CAN NOT SPAM.

Each and every registered member who had already posted in HMG Forum is made ex-officio member of HMG Posters group and our ever group leader is Roberto Lopez.

Only after activation of your account you can start posting in the forum. User accounts will be pruned weekly on every Monday.

Guys, we have typical "spammers attack"
Look at Members list - attack started at 12 April (when "ZZerox" came in).
After 12 Apr about 20 new members came in - and many of them wrote some https as "Website" (I tried for example "http:// ferexooka.blogonline.ru/" - it's about hot sex and something like). I think - it's "joke" of Russians (mmmmm... foolish... or "sex-only-oriented"... Russians... excuse me for my foolish compatriots... I'm ashamed).
My idea is: if new user did not write something about himself (week or 2 max.) in "Self Introduction" - delete him from Members list. IMHO we don't need a "garbage"

P.S. Can our Admin block a "Private messages" feature for this members? If he can - let's block it (or look: what they write [if they write something in PMs]?)

I'm sure that this will be very effective to keep spammers far away from the forum.

Thanks a lot for all the efforts to implement it..... I must appreciate the way you devote your time for this forum.

And its also nice to see that our boss of HMG, Roberto Lopez is also active in our forum. Thanks a lot Sir! It gives a sort of "feel good" feeling when the creator of HMG is among us.

Even though we had introduced a nice method of filtering the spamming, we get now 5-10 of annoying spams every day.

To avoid that, from now onwards, the new members are not allowed to start any new topic. Instead, they will be allowed only to reply a particular topic I want to be a HMG poster. On seeing their interest, the post will be approved and (s)he will be promoted as a HMG poster.

Further, '0' post members will be pruned every day.
