Hi All,
WARNING: This post is for old people only!!!
In early 80's my father bought to me my first computer (a TI-99/4A).
I have nice memories about it, but my endless love is to my second computer: a Commodore 64!
The site http://www.commodoremania.com.ar has a very nice Flash intro that will give a big smile to anyone that had owned a C64
Regards,
Roberto.
PS: Of course, I hate C64 power supply

Re: My Second Computer...
Really funny.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Re: My Second Computer...
Hello,
Thanks a lot to remind me about those old days
I first worked on a PC XT with Hard Disk (of 20 mb) in my fist job as a programmer.
My first computer was an assembled PC 386 with Novel DOS 7 with multi programming facility!!! Speed of that computer was 40 Mhz (when Intel's 386 speed was 33 Mhz) with 1 Gb hdd, 4 mb RAM, 1 FDD, no CD ROM drive, small monochrome monitor.
And yes, my Clipper programs ran fine in that super machine.
And with that computer I started my very small software firm with lots of dreams (in a small room in the ground floor of my house). That computer still exists in my house. And I never abandoned those dreams.
Thank you all.
Regards.
Sudip

Mine was a NEC V20 CPU (XT like) with a Juko BIOS without hard disk (it was very expensive for me ).mol wrote:my first PC was PC AT with 80286 12MHz 640KB and HDD 40MB. That was great machine!
About six months later I've bought a Seagate ST 238-R hard disk (30 MB).
The video was Hercules and monitor a monochrome Samsung.
