Thank you for referring.

http://www.uvviewsoft.com/synwrite/

This is the link for this writer.

Please let me know how to configure for Harbour syntax highlighting. Now officially we are recommending Notepad++. What are all the advantages of this writer over notepad++?
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
...the possibilities are endless.

Hi Migsoft,

Excellent. Have you configured SynWrite to compile programs also ?, If so, how.

Warm regards,

There is a topic namely "How to make an IDE for your own language?" under "Miscellaneous" section of Help.

Maybe useful, not tried yet by me :(

Hi MigSoft,

Thanks for sharing the the link about SynWrite. For me, here's what I'm looking for a code editor:
1. Ability to use code folding.
2. Column mode editing
3. Tabs as space (because it allows me to used other editors preserving the alignment)
4. Syntax highlighting.
5. Support for Ansi and Unicode.
6. Ability to Search and Replace whole or selection (block)

In the old days I used ne.com (Norton Editor) because of its simplicity. Then I moved to CodeWright and finally with Crimson Editor (though it do not support code folding). Maybe I should try SynWrite. :)

Thanks,
Regards,

Danny

Danny,

I have verified. SynWrite has all the above features.
East or West HMG is the Best.
South or North HMG is worth.
